When I was a kid in the 1980's I had random pictures of Colorado from magazines, small posters, and postcards. I was always fascinated with the landscapes and mountains of this enchanted looking place. Growing up in the coastal area of Houston Texas you never see anything like that. On my 40th birthday my beautiful wife Jennifer planned a trip for us to stay there a week. This is absolutely the best gift anyone has ever given me. I shot so many images while I was there. I hope the beauty that I captured there you're able to feel and see in this image and those to come.
